This privacy notice tells you about the information we collect from you when you open a Trade Account with P.Cutajar in order to start Purchasing Products. What personal data do we collect?
When you request to open a New Account with P.Cutajar one of our Sales Reps visits the outlet and the rep fills the form On-line. Apart from Business Data such as Outlet Name/Address, we collect the following Personal Information: Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, ID Card Number, Owner Signature, Owner ID Card, Guarantor Signature, Guarantor ID Card.
Why do we collect this information?
We collect this information in order to perform the due diligence needed to open the account, for credit purposes, for contact purposes including sending of statements, offers, events, product catalogues.
What do we do with your information?
The Information collected from this secure form will be sent to a centralised Portal and only people with the appropriate security levels have access to it.
Since P.Cutajar is a Member of The Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) part of the due diligence may involve transferring any Personal Data found within this agreement to MACM in order for the Company to adhere to the principles, ethics and guidelines issued by MACM from time to time.
We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.
How long do we keep your information for?
As long you remain an active Customer of P.Cutajar all the information data is kept securely stored on our systems. If for some reason you decide to stop being a P.Cutajar Trade Customer you must inform us in writing on the contact details above and any Personal Data will be removed unless there are pending invoices, loans, or disputes such as Credit Issues in which cases the Data will be kept until the disputes are resolved.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully.
