Warehouse Checker

We are seeking a Full-Time detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Checker to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting, verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. This role also plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy in quantity, quality and compliance with purchase orders;

• Check outbound shipments to ensure the correct items and quantities are being dispatched;

• Maintain detailed records of shipments, discrepancies and damages;

• Report any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor;

• Assist in preparations for order Picking;

• Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory including daily inspection for request to replenish inventory products required at warehouse Ground level;

• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow;

• Conduct cycle counts and assist in periodic inventory audits;

• Communicate effectively with logistics, procurement, and inventory teams;

• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations;

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and to handle physical labour, including lifting heavy objects.

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;

• Team player with good communication skills;

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy packages;

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if/when required).

• A valid work permit;
